Syntellia was founded by Kostas Eleftheriou and Ioannis Verdelis. Their plan is to develop software solutions to real world problems based on the principle of Synthetic Intelligence - the application of human intelligence principles to the solution of computer problems.

The company's first product in the market is Fleksy™, a virtual keyboard solution which outperforms all current market offerings both in terms of input speed and accuracy. Currently developed, patented, and ready to be integrated, Fleksy™ has superior auto-correct features that dramatically improve typing on touch sensitive devices - even when typing blind. The imaginative auto-correct functionality enables a number of user interface innovations which have not been possible to date. Though the solution can be applied to a familiar interface, they have already developed a completely re-designed user interface specifically for blind people which will for the first time make it possible for the visually impaired to use a keyless interface efficiently.
