Zembula Raises $1.1M in Seed Funding

PORTLAND, OR, Content platform for enterprise marketers, has raised $1.1 million in seed funding.
Zembula, the rich interactive content platform for enterprise marketers, made its formal debut today at The Launch Festival in San Francisco. The company also announced that it has raised $1.1 million in seed funding, which will be used to continue product innovation and scale essential functions. Investors in this round include the Launch Fund, Seven Peaks Ventures and Portland Seed Fund.
Out of more than 1,000 companies that applied, Zembula was one of just 14 Launch Incubator companies selected to present on stage this afternoon at The Launch Festival. The company also is showing live demos of its first product Scratch-it in the Demo Pit March 2-4. Visit Zembula in booth A8.

While rich interactive campaigns have been around for a while, they've typically been the domain of the brand agencies, because in-house marketing teams often do not have the time or experience to execute such campaigns successfully. And, since these types of campaigns have been considered one-off creative experiences, they often lack actionable data. Zembula gives in-house marketers access to its powerful tool, which makes it easy for anyone to develop creative campaigns and produces valuable information that can be used to refine marketing efforts.

Zembula's analytics platform brings it full circle, allowing exports of behavioral engagement data back into the brands CRM or marketing automation solution. Both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketers see improvements in click through rates (CTR) and time spent interacting with the use of the Zembula platform. On average, Zembula has seen its B2B customers increase CTRs by 274 percent across email, Facebook and SMS, with website/landing page traffic growth of 28 percent translating to more qualified leads, and ultimately higher revenue. On the B2C side, Zembula users' CTRs increase an average of 318 percent, with website landing page traffic growth of 34 percent, which results in website purchases, in-store redemptions and opt-ins.
