Institutional investment funds that participated include: Thomvest Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Digital Sky Technologies, Phenomenon Ventures, TMT Ventures, DominateFund and FundersClub. Individual participants include Loopt Co-Founder Sam Altman, Gmail creator Paul Buchheit, Lady Gaga's manager Troy Carter, Dave McClure, former Yahoo! CTO Farzad Nazem, early Zappos investor Erik Moore, Promus Ventures founder Mike Collett and Posterous co-founder Garry Tan.
