Tyber Medical, LLC, a market leader in titanium plasma spray coated interbody fusion devices, today announced it closed a private equity funding round for an undisclosed amount. The company will use the capital to acquire resources necessary to accelerate the market penetration of the TyPEEK interbody product portfolio, and develop additional products for the spine and orthopedic markets.

TyPEEK, proprietary titanium plasma sprayed interbody fusion devices, are specifically designed for situations where PEEK alone may not provide the best setting for fusion. TyPEEK is designed to offer the benefits of bone - titanium osseointegration along with the modulus and post op imaging characteristics of PEEK.
