TRS has completed a capital investment round to support a very strong project backlog and sales projections.
LONGVIEW, WA, Celebrating over 10 years of service in the U.S. environmental industry, TRS Group, Inc. has completed a capital investment round to support a very strong project backlog and sales projections. The world's leading provider of Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) for remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, TRS reports the execution of new contracts totaling over $17,000,000 since January 1, 2011.
Concurrent with the investment round, the TRS Executive Chairman Brett Trowbridge was hired as the permanent CEO and President. Mr. Trowbridge has been fulfilling an executive role since September of 2009. Mr. Trowbridge reports, "The current TRS project backlog and sales projections are strong well into 2012. TRS first quarter contracting, which exceeded sales projections by 300 percent, coupled with the capital investment round will allow TRS to continue to capture the excellent business opportunities that exist in the rapidly growing thermal remediation market."
In addition, to help manage and further grow the company, TRS hired Dale Plampin as Controller, effective October 2010. Mr. Plampin has over 15 years of progressive accounting, finance, and overall business administration experience in the environmental industry.
TRS continues with research and development on the ERH Technology; innovation with new electrode designs and testing; and developing sustainable methods of combining technologies to increase the capabilities and expand the remediation markets for ERH applications.
