Tablelist Raises Additional $500K

2014-08-26
BOSTON, MA, Tablelist closes an additional $500,000 in funding, as well as hired former HubSpot executive Keith Frankel as its chief digital officer.
Tablelist, a platform that helps partygoers book VIP tables and bottle service at Boston's hottest nightclubs, is having one of its hottest months. After raising $1.5 million in July, the startup announced Monday it's closed an additional $500,000 in funding, as well as hired former HubSpot executive Keith Frankel as its chief digital officer.

The initial financing was led by Jason Carroll of hedge fund Hudson River Trading and Crashlytics founder and Twitter executive Wayne Chang, the latter of which invested as one of the leads of Atlas's Boston Syndicate on AngelList.

Due to 'overwhelming' demand and the need to fill key senior management roles, Tablelist extended its fundraising round and brought on notable nightlife influencers Simon Hammerstein and Michael Gruber as investors. With the newfound financing, Tablelist was able to hire Frankel, who has spent the last year and a half serving as the head of creative and design at inbound marketing leader HubSpot.
