Stringify Receives $6.3M in Seed Funding

LOS GATOS, CA, Stringify announced it has received $6.3 million in initial seed funding led by ARTIS Ventures.
Stringify, an Internet of Everything (IoE) startup aiming to shape the transformation of the space, today announced it has received $6.3 million in initial seed funding led by ARTIS Ventures along with OurCrowd and other private investors. The funds will be used to build out the company's engineering team and ramp product development.
'The Internet of Things is at an important inflection point and we need to get it right,' said Dave Evans, Stringify's CTO and co-founder. 'It's not just about the hardware however, it's about the powerful intersection of people, process, and of course, the things. Stringify aims to unleash the true potential of IoT by bridging together our physical and digital worlds in ways previously unimagined.'

The founders of Stringify are seasoned management and product executives from companies spanning multiple industries, including Cisco, JPMorgan Chase, Palm and SanDisk. The company is founded by CEO Mike Yurochko, CTO Dave Evans, and CCO Yaron Sheba. Between them, the team has more than 60 patents and scores of product awards in multiple industries. Evans, who left his 24-year tenure at Cisco--most recently as Chief Futurist--regularly blogs on the topics of IoT and IoE on LinkedIn.
