Platform Capital has led a $1.3 million investment round in STRAP Technologies. The company is also backed by International Accelerator and a group of Angel Investors.

STRAP has developed a range of hardware and software solutions that address the mobility challenges that the blind and visually impaired encounter daily. After years of R&D and extensive testing, STRAP has integrated its solutions into a lightweight, chest-worn device that guides the blind and visually impaired by calculating the proximity of physical environments, allowing them to move unaided.
