SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Standard Cognition has a raised a $150M round of Series C funding led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
Standard Cognition, which provides an autonomous checkout solution for retailers, has a raised a $150M round of Series C funding led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. The round included participation from existing investors CRV, EQT Ventures, and TI Platform Management; and new investors SK Networks and others.

Standard Cognition is eliminating the hassle of retail checkout by removing it. The company offers an artificial intelligence-based system available to any retailer that lets consumers shop and pay without waiting in line, scanning or stopping to check out.

The Standard Cognition solution helps retailers reduce labor costs, improve the customer experience, and improve profit margins by up to 100 percent. It's also helping retailers of all sizes compete with larger chains and online offerings such as Amazon.
