Emerson (NYSE: EMR) today announced it has made a strategic investment through Emerson Ventures, its corporate venture capital arm, in Spearix Technologies, Inc., whose adaptive, multi-core radio processor provides a system-level solution for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) wireless communication.

Spearix Technologies, Inc. is a startup realizing hardware and software technology that makes wireless visible, reliable and predictable. Its RADiS multi-core RF processor has been measured to improve wireless link immunity to Wi-Fi coexistence while increasing link reliability by 10X and range by 3X compared to traditional radio physical layer designs.
