FREMONT, CA, Solaria Inc., a developer of solar panel technology, has raised $30 million in financing, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company previously closed a $45 million Series D round in 2010, and is backed by investors including CMEA Capital, DBL Investors, Mitsui Ventures, Savitr Capital, Sigma Partners and NGEN Partners. There was only one investor in the offering.
Solaria Corporation manufactures PV modules and systems for large and utility scale tracking applications. Solaria modules are available separately or as a complete tracking system.
