LOUISVILLE, KY, Sofab Inks, the leader in specialty materials for perovskite solar, announced it has raised $6 million in seed funding.
The round was led by strategic investor Cloudberry Ventures.
Sofab Inks is a leader in novel and nanostructured materials for the solar industry. The company was spun out of the University of Louisville, Conn Center for Renewable Energy, with support from the US DoE. By focusing on high-performance electron transport layers and specialized inks, Sofab Inks is enabling the transition to mass-market production of perovskite solar applications across multiple markets and applications.
