SURREY, ENGLAND, Social media data protection firm SocialSafe has received an additional $1 million in commitments from investors, in addition to $1.855 million the startup has raised since 2009.
SocialSafe, a startup that allows users to back up their social media content, has received $1 million in investor support, according to published reports.
SocialSafe, which had already raised $1.855 million in investor funding, is based in Surrey, England, and provides backup support for Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, and other social media sites. According to the company's website, future developments will include product versions for iPhone and iPad, support for Facebook Videos, geo location data for content, and the ability to write journal entries directly to SocialSafe.
