TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, Cross-media company Screenz, has announced the procurement of $5M in funding from Marker.
Tel Aviv headquartered cross-media company Screenz, today announces the procurement of $5M in funding from Marker LLC to expand research and development and accelerate the growth of its technological capabilities.

As the TV landscape changes and evolves, Screenz is answering industry needs by creating unprecented ways to foster genuine engagement with the viewer. Marker's investment will facilitate further development of Screenz's groundbreaking technologies, leveraging the media acumen of their in-house content creators (TV format developers, screenwriters) and core technology developers to co-create 360 interactive formats and digital assets.

With Screenz's inventive technology for Rising Star, a Keshet International DCP production, ABC won the ratings battle on Sunday night among adults 18-49 by incorporating new tech and real-time app-based voting in the live reality talent show. The show also scored the highest rating for the network of a summer debut in two years. Sold into more than 25 territories, this format uses one of an extensive suite of products featured on Screenz's Real Time Platform.
The cloud-based software solution that Screenz has developed supports over 100 million interactions per minute while enabling viewers to engage with their favorite shows through a wide variety of second screen formats including: talent, trivia and quiz apps, and real-time prediction and social media extensions. Broadcasters and producers achieve live audience engagement while capturing viewer data, extending their brands outside the confines of TV, generating new advertising revenue opportunities and taking TV into the Big Data marketplace.
