According to the LA Business Journal, Retention Science, a customer retention marketing company, has raised $7 million in a Series A round. Upfront Ventures led the financing round with support from Baroda Ventures, Forerunner Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures and a number of angel investors.

Retention Science is a startup that features the Customer Profiling Engine, a platform that transforms Big Data analytics into actionable retention marketing strategies. The company aids businesses that need automation in their customer retention strategies by analyzing the customer lifecycle and identifying the ideal time periods for customer reengagement.
