Relationship Science (RelSci), the ultimate tool for business development professionals and dealmakers, announces a $30 million round of funding.

New investors include Reuben Jeffery, David Komansky (Former Chairman and CEO of Merrill Lynch), Randy Lerner (Former Chairman of MBNA), Stephen Luczo (Chairman and CEO of Seagate) and salesforce.com.

RelSci's existing investors include Henry Kravis, Kenneth Langone, Stanley Druckenmiller, MacAndrews & Forbes, C.V. Starr, Hearst Corporation, Ron Burkle, Barry Sternlicht, RIT Capital Partners, Andrew Tisch, Joseph Perella and Harvey Golub. The founder of Relationship Science is Neal Goldman, founder of Capital IQ, the financial database service that is used by many Wall Street firms. Mr. Goldman sold Capital IQ to McGraw-Hill in 2004.

After two and a half years of development, RelSci launched in January with $60 million in funding to solve a key universal issue for accomplished professionals in the business, finance, and nonprofit sectors: Who are the key decision-makers and how do you gain access to them?

So far this year, RelSci has signed up over 150 client organizations including several of the most recognized global investment banks, private equity firms, law firms, wealth management firms, universities, hedge funds, corporations, consulting firms and non-profit organizations. Clients use the tool to ˜sell high' and reach the people who can influence and make important decisions.

This second round of funding will enable RelSci to meet increasing customer demand, accelerate development of new services, create new applications on the platform, and continue to expand the content of its database.

"We are very excited. Our product clearly resonates with people. Deal makers, sales professionals, fundraisers, investors " they are all looking for new innovative ways to leverage their individual and organization-wide relationships in more powerful and productive ways. They demand the ROI " and we can deliver" according to Mr. Goldman.

RelSci provides research-driven profiles on over two million top decision-makers and over 800,000 organizations across the public, private, finance and nonprofit sectors. RelSci clients use the tool to gain a deeper understanding of the people and organizations they do and want to do business with, leverage existing relationships that can provide warm introductions, and identify commonalities with other professionals that make every interaction a warm one.

In-person and virtual demonstrations of RelSci are currently being offered to interested individuals and organizations at relsci.com, by calling 888-800-7951 or via email at sales@relsci.com.
