RelateIQ Launches with $29M in Series B

2013-06-13
PALO ALTO, CA, Stealthy data solutions company announced a $29M Series B round co-led by Formation 8 and Accel Partners.
The Series B round, which was first reported by the WSJ, was co-led by Formation 8 and Accel Partners.

The lead investors were also accompanied by Battery Ventures, AMC Cloud Ventures, Thrive Capital, Allen & Co. and Facebook and Asana co-founder, and Dustin Moskovitz.

RelateIQ began in 2011 when co-founders Adam Evans and Steve Loughlin got fed up with manual data entry. In the age of big data, cloud-computing, and mind-blowing consumer electronics, they couldn't understand why they had to spend hours each week manually adding contact info and status updates to flat, lifeless relationship management tools. They knew they could build a better way to work by automating the tedious parts of their jobs"and that's why they created RelateIQ.

The company launched its public beta in 2013 with a mission to help people build better relationships and make smarter decisions. The RelateIQ relationship intelligence platform has been crushing inefficiency (and monotony) for savvy professionals ever since.
