Nyansa Secures $15M Series B
2018-01-16
PALO ALTO, CA, Nyansa Inc, a provider of infrastructure management solutions, has secured $15 million in Series B funding.
Nyansa, ("knee-ans-sah"), a fast-growing technology innovator of infrastructure management solutions, today announced that it closed a $15 million, Series B round of financing led by Intel Capital, with participation from Formation 8, Nyansa's initial investor.
The new round of financing brings Nyansa's total capital investment to date to $27 million.
The proceeds will be used to support Nyansa's strategic growth initiatives, including the acceleration of go-to-market activities and continued innovation of the company's popular cloud-based infrastructure analytics platform, called Voyance.
The Voyance platform leverages big data network analytics, cloud computing and machine learning technologies to help organizations manage user performance across infrastructure devices, applications and services.
"Data is now king in the networked world and is forever changing enterprise access infrastructure," said Abe Ankumah, Co-Founder and CEO of Nyansa. "The winners will be those who help enterprises interpret and capitalize on the volumes of data running over their networks to gain a strategic business advantage. Our goal with this latest injection of capital is to continue doing what we do best -- delivering a unique user performance management platform that helps customers ensure the best possible user network experience, whether that user is a person, device or application."
"As the complexity of the network increases, enterprises will benefit from intelligent analytics solutions that can help them to predict and prevent network outages and provide situational awareness and insights," said Sandra Rivera, senior vice president and general manager of the Network Platforms Group at Intel Corp. "Artificial intelligence and machine learning can address network challenges such as customer experience management, predictive maintenance and automated remediation. Our investment in Nyansa, a market innovator in this space, reflects a belief in the broader adoption of such AI-enabled, big-data-driven analytics platforms."
Director Alexandre Villela led the investment for Intel Capital and will join Nyansa's Board of Directors.
"Big data analytics focused on user performance management has become the name of the game in the enterprise infrastructure market," said Shirish Sathaye, general partner at Formation 8. "As an investor since day one, we are more convinced than ever that the Nyansa is poised to redefine the infrastructure management market."
