BERLIN, GERMANY, Business app platform attracted $38M in a Series A funding round led by by Index Ventures
German entrepreneur Marco Boerries' business app platform has attracted $38m in Series A funding. The funding round is led by by Index Ventures and joined by New York merchant bank Allen & Company, Deutsche Telekom, early Google investor Andy Bechtolsheim, Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, Klaus Hommels and his investment firm Lakestar, Lars Hinrichs and Simon Levene.

Founded in 2009 by Marco Boerries to re-imagine how small businesses are run, NumberFour is building a business platform paired with a great collection of versatile, easy to use apps that run on smartphones, tablets and personal computers. This solution creates a level playing field by giving small businesses instant access to the tools, capabilities and insights normally only available to larger companies.

NumberFour AG has its headquarter in Berlin, Germany with offices in Hamburg, Germany and Palo Alto, California.
