Nirvana Insurance, an AI-based commercial insurance platform for the trucking industry, has raised a $100 million Series D round at a $1.5 billion valuation, according to Crunchbase News. The raise comes just over nine months after the startup raised $80 million in a Series C round of funding at an $830 million valuation. Valor Equity Partners led the latest financing. Previous lead backers Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst also invested.
