CAMBRIDGE, MA, Nara, which is developing software to help users choose restaurants, has raised $3.6M.
Ava Inc., doing business as Nara, has secured $3.6 million of a $4.5 million equity offering, according to documents filed with the SEC. 18 separate investors participated in the offering.

The Cambridge-based technology company was founded in 2011 and is led by President and CEO Thomas Copeman. Currently in closed beta, Nara helps you find new places that you'll love based on the ones you already do, bringing you the world with your tastes in mind. It's out there; go taste it. The firm's first offering appears to be focused on the restaurant industry.
