Mojiit Closes Angel Funding

2017-06-26
NEW YORK, NY, Mojiit, a new technology startup from PingTank co-founder and serial entrepreneur Jeremy Greene, has announced today that it has closed on angel funding.
Mojiit, a new technology startup from PingTank co-founder and serial entrepreneur Jeremy Greene, has announced today that it has closed on angel funding led by former National Football League and Baltimore Ravens player Ed Reed. Reed helped lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl win in 2012 before retiring from professional football in 2014. The strategic investment will help drive growth and innovation for Mojiit, one of the industry's first companies to combine emojis with hologram technology.

"All of my conversations seem to be in emojis," said Reed. "I'm thrilled to announce this new technology and to be able to push it forward and change the game with Jeremy and the team."

Mojiit was created by Greene in 2017 and enables technology users to project 3D hologram emojis via smartphones. Users can choose from a range of popular emojis styles to illuminate and share with friends. Prior to Mojiit, Greene was a co-founder of the popular social network application PingTank, created in 2014. He has since been an active innovator and thought leader on app and smartphone technologies in addition to launching the new venture.

"It's exciting to once again be on the forefront of new technology and ideas with Mojiit," added Greene. "I am thrilled to have Ed among our investors and am looking forward to bringing 3D hologram technology to mobile devices."
