REDWOOD CITY, CA, Maker of the Shine wearable activity tracker, has raised $15.2 million in Series B funding.
Misfit Wearables, maker of the Shine wearable activity tracker, has raised $15.2 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Li Ka-Shing's Horizon Ventures and included previous backers Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, OATV, Max Levchin and IncTank.

The firm's flagship product, Shine, is a wearable device that you never have to plug in to recharge. Simply wear Shine all the time and replace the commonly available CR 2032 lithium cell every few months. Now with the low battery indicator, the app will notify you when your battery is low. When you see the low battery icon, make sure to replace your battery within a week or two so you can continue syncing your Shine without any interruptions.
