MealMe Grabs $8M Series A Funding Round

PALO ALTO, CA, MealMe, a unified API for food ordering, today announced an $8 million Series A fundraise.
The round was led by Mercury Fund with participation from existing investors Palm Drive Capital and Gaingels. The new capital will be used to increase store selection while providing world-class developer support and uptime to customers.

MealMe is a unified API for food ordering. Founded in 2019 by Will Said and Matthew Bouchner, MealMe sought to address the consumer pain points of fragmented ordering options, eventually shifting its focus towards an AI-enabled, universal menu and inventory data and ordering API, ensuring a seamless consumer experience. MealMe's API provides inventory data on over 1 billion products from over 1.2 million restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers in the U.S. and Canada, serving a growing base of over 100 customers including TripAdvisor, Favor Delivery, Fantuan Delivery, and more.
