BOSTON, Marginize, the Boston-based provider of software that creates a "social space" on any web page, has raised $1.3 million in venture capital, according to a new filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Fifteen investors participated in the offering.
Marginize is a browser plugin that augments every page on the Web with a sidebar enabling users to see what the world is saying about the page on Twitter, Facebook and Buzz, and interact with each other through comments and check-ins.
