LiquidFrameworks Raises Growth Capital

HOUSTON, TX, Provider of mobile field operations management solutions to companies in the oil field services, industrial services and energy supply chain, raised additional growth capital from Houston Ventures and Redhouse Associates.
LiquidFrameworks, Inc., a leading provider of mobile field operations management solutions to companies in the oil field services, industrial services and energy supply chain, announced today that it has expanded its management team through the addition of Trent Derr as President and CEO and Dave Levitt as Worldwide Vice President of Sales. This expansion of the management team occurred concurrently with LiquidFrameworks' raising additional growth capital from Houston Ventures and Redhouse Associates.

Mr. Derr has held leadership roles in the software and technology industries for more than 25 years. Mr. Derr was President and CEO of Syntex Management Systems, an Operational Risk Management software company, where he successfully grew the company's dominant market share in the energy and chemical verticals. Syntex was acquired by IHS (NYSE: IHS) in the fall of 2010. Prior to Syntex, Mr. Derr was Chief Operating Officer for P2 Energy Solutions, a leading technology provider to upstream energy companies. He was Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Novoforum, a supply chain integration company providing software as a service (SaaS) solutions to energy and chemical companies. In addition, Mr. Derr has held senior positions with SAP, Oracle, Software 2000, and PriceWaterhouse. Mr. Derr said "I'm excited to join the LiquidFrameworks team. Mr. Levitt comes to LiquidFrameworks from Salesforce.com, where he spent the past four years developing and managing the company's Energy Region. Previously, Mr. Levitt spent eighteen years selling enterprise software solutions for SAP, Siebel (since acquired by Oracle) and Datalogix (since acquired by Oracle) into the Energy market. Mr. Levitt said, "I believe that LiquidFrameworks is perfectly positioned for explosive growth, and I am excited to help drive revenue growth for the company and thought leadership for this market segment."
