LINCOLN, MA, Leader in online multimedia presentation technology, has closed an additional nearly $1.2 million in financing, in the form of a Series A-2.
KnowledgeVision Systems, the leader in online multimedia presentation technology, has closed an additional nearly $1.2 million in financing, in the form of a Series A-2 Preferred Stock round. The funds will be used to further accelerate KnowledgeVision™s penetration into financial services, healthcare, technology, and education markets. It will also support the launch of a series of new enterprise enablement initiatives this quarter.
'Important new product developments are in the works at KnowledgeVision,' said CEO Michael Kolowich. 'This new funding will help boost these new products and features into the market.'
The company also announced the appointment of Thomas Gensch as Senior Vice President, Sales and Channels. He will lead a rapidly growing sales team at KnowledgeVision, building strategic partnerships and acquiring customers around the world.
Gensch brings over 20 years of digital commerce management, sales, and marketing experience to KnowledgeVision. His experience includes service in both the private and public sectors. While serving as president of Quipa, a leading global cybersecurity company, his applied his security knowledge to assist large enterprises in need of protecting their virtual assets across devices used throughout the organization. Previously, he was Chief Revenue Officer for MuseGlobal and Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Knovel. His leadership as Vice President of Sales at SupportSoft and NewsEdge Corporation contributed to record growth and two successful IPO™s.
