NEW YORK, NY, First subscription service featuring the largest and most comprehensive network of kids' classes in NYC, has closed its latest round of seed funding of $1.2 million.
KidPass, the first subscription service featuring the largest and most comprehensive network of kids' classes in NYC, has closed its latest round of seed funding of $1.2 million from leading tech investors. KidPass has also released its new mobile app for even easier discovery and booking of over 3,500 amazing activities -- now available for iOS users in the App store.

KidPass enables users to discover thousands of activities for kids of all ages and instantly book a class online or via the mobile app, so parents can spend less time finding and scheduling classes and more time having fun with their kids.

KidPass closed their seed funding with a total of $1.2 million raised. The company is backed by top investors and tech luminaries including Kevin Ryan (co-founder of DoubleClick, Business Insider, Gilt, MongoDB, Zola, Workframe, Nomad Health); CoVenture (investors in Finova, Greycork, ProducePay, BranchingMinds); TIA Ventures (investors in BentoBox, Bevi, ChargeItSpot); Bionic Fund / David Kidder (co-founder of Bionic Solution, Clickable; investor in TapAd, Art.sy, Content.ly); Stephano Kim, Timothy Chi, Lee Wang (co-founders of BlackBoard, WeddingWire); Thomas Lehrman (co-founder of Gerson Lehrman Group); and investors in ClassPass among others.

KidPass is the fastest-growing kids' activities website in NYC. Since its beta release in January, over 1,000 families have booked over 15,000 activities through the website. 'The fact that our membership base has rapidly grown by word-of-mouth is a huge testament to the need for KidPass and the value we are providing to parents,' says Solomon Liou, Co-Founder and CEO of KidPass. 'With the new funding, we are excited to expand KidPass to even more neighborhoods, parents, and children. Our long-term mission is to build the world's leading online marketplace for kids activities, and provide a trusted, convenient source to find enriching experiences for children.'

KidPass is helping to drive growth in the kids' industry and activating a new market of consumers - 9 out of 10 KidPass members were not regular members to any kids' activity centers prior to signing up, and report attending more activities since joining. For businesses, KidPass has proven to be a powerful marketing tool. Businesses can list their classes online and make them bookable for KidPass members only - often at a discount of 50-75% off. The team has been empowering businesses to join the digital age, working hand in hand with hundreds of partners to digitize their programming and make it available for booking online.

Carina Zimmerman, co-founder of TLB Music on the Upper East Side says, 'KidPass helps promote our business in a very targeted way and gives parents the means to try us out before making a commitment. Bookings from KidPass have increased every month and we're pleased with the incremental revenue and new customers that they drive. It's really easy to get set up and they do all the heavy-lifting.'

Ceylan Yazar, a KidPass user and mother of a 5 year old, says, 'I no longer spend hours searching for activities and agonizing over scheduling. KidPass gives my family an opportunity to explore the whole city while trying new things. KidPass allows us to make new memories everyday.'

KidPass subscriptions start at $49/month. KidPass is offering parents the opportunity to try KidPass for just 19$/month for the first month with code: KIDPASS2016. Offer expires October 15, 2016.
