According to published reports, Codefied (make of HouseCall app) has closed a $1.5 million seed round led by e.ventures.

The HouseCall team came together after working for many years on contextual software for smartphones at world-leading wireless company Qualcomm. As homeowners, we were just stumped by why it was such a hassle to maintain our homes. So we set out to change the $200B+ home services industry by rethinking how things should work in a mobile-centric world.

HouseCall is also a member of EvoNexus, San Diego's only community-supported, fully pro-bono technology incubator.
