According to published reports, Good Eggs, a startup that brings farmers markets online, has closed an $8.5 million Series A round from Sequoia Capital with participation from Harrison Metal and others.

If you're in Brooklyn, New Orleans or Los Angeles, we're piloting marketplaces in each of those cities, with full marketplaces and deliveries by Good Eggs launching soon.
