Freshdesk Completes $31M Round
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Leading provider of cloud-based customer support software, announced today that it has completed a $31 million investment round.
Freshdesk, a leading provider of cloud-based customer support software, announced today that it has completed a $31 million investment round led by Tiger Global Management, with Accel Partners and Google Capital participating. The new round of funding will be used to accelerate Freshdesk's global expansion and ramp up R&D for Freshservice, the IT Service Desk solution launched in January.
The San Francisco based startup will join Google Capital's exclusive portfolio of high growth companies who have built a solid foundation. This investment follows Freshdesk's previous round of funding in December, when existing investors Tiger Global and Accel Partners together added $7 million as the company hired a President to scale its North America operations.

Since launching in 2011, Freshdesk has raised $44 million in multiple rounds of funding. During the last two quarters, the company acquired close to 10,000 new customers, bringing the total to 23,000 in 175 countries. Freshdesk's growing list of customers includes 3M, Hugo Boss, and Petronas. With steady growth in North America and across the globe, Freshdesk is a leader in the customer support space.
