OAKLAND, CA, Fotobabble Inc. has raised $575,000 in financing for its talking photo applications, according to a filing with the S.E.C. According to the filing, the Fotobabble board includes Toronto-based angel investor David Ceolin. Five separate investors participated in the offering.

Fotobabble is the only social media software service that makes photos, the most shared social content, and makes it more engaging and personal by adding the energy and emotion of human voice. Talking Photos, Fotobabble's first mobile/web application, lets users add voice to images in seconds, and share their voice-powered Talking Photos through Facebook, Twitter, email and other social networks.

Fotobabble is used everyday by users in small businesses, education, professional photography, real estate, nonprofits, storytelling, greeting cards, dating sites, and big brand marketing. Companies such as NBC Interactive, Tim Hortons coffee chain, Dogster, Saltire Foundation, and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy have used Fotobabble's social media platform to deliver unique social experiences and engage customers in novel ways.
