ERN, a London-based startup offering big banks a proprietary data analytical platform, received $1 million in seed funding to develop its operations in Asian markets, according to published reports. Also, the company announced the hiring of former MasterCard and Citi executive Brian Thom to work in Singapore as the company's president for Asia.
The seed investment brings the total funds raised by ERN to $5.6 million. ERN offers banks its 'Looop' system, which links credit card payments and merchant data in real time to offer advanced data analysis opportunities.
