SILICON VALLEY, CA, Elio, a company building sensors designed for artificial intelligence rather than the human eye, has announced a $21 million funding round.
The round was led by Innovation Endeavors and Xora, with participation from Kevin Weil and Scribble VC. Existing investors UpWest and Resolute Ventures, who led the company's previous round, are continuing their support.
Elio builds sensors for the AI era. Instead of capturing one fixed view of the world decided in advance, Elio's sensors let AI direct what to capture in real time - turning sensing into something that behaves like software, gaining new capability over time rather than becoming outdated.
