BOSTON, MA, Mobile device application startup Crashlytics Inc. has taken in $800,000 of a planned $1 million initial funding round, according to SEC filings.

The firm's web site claims that Crashlytics offers an "Amazingly simple way to locate and fix crashes in your apps (and more)."

An executive at Crashlytics, Wayne Chang, is well-known for his lawsuit against the Winkelvoss twins, infamous for their lawsuits against Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.
