MENLO PARK, CA, CloudOn Inc., formerly known as AppToU, has raised $7.69 million in Series A financing, according to a September 1 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to published reports, CloudOn was formed in 2009 and, according to its website, focuses on productivity & collaboration tools for smart devices. The company was co-founded by Milind Gadekar, a former marketing director at Cisco.
