LONDON, ENGLAND, Subscription-based beauty discovery service Carmine announces today the launch of its website in the UK, and that it secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Accel Partners.

A true revolution for the beauty industry, the service provides users with a platform to discover and test products from some of the most popular and upcoming brands. In doing so, Carmine offers brands an innovative marketing channel to interact directly with active consumers.

Carmine's users sign-up to receive 5 beauty product miniatures picked by experts to sample each month for just £10 +p&p. There are 3 different plans to choose from and users get a discount for longer subscriptions.

Carmine strives to set itself apart from other players in the industry through its online platform, providing a unique, social experience to registered users (not just paying subscribers). Crafted by experts in beauty, social media and e-commerce, Carmine allows users to interact with one another to maximise their product experience. Consumers can find exclusive content featuring industry experts and celebrities, brands, products, tips & trends and more.

They also have the option of providing additional details about their beauty needs and preferences via Carmine's beauty quiz. The result will enable Carmine to personalise the entire experience and provide the most relevant products to users in the future.

Carmine's first-ever box for the month of October will feature an amazing mix of international and UK-based brands, with products from theBalm (fun and flirty all-American make-up), Trind (Dutch experts in nail care), Caudalie (French luxury skincare line) along with British darlings balance Me (aromatherapy-based bath & body line) and Daniel Sandler (professional make-up line).
