WALTHAM, MA, Blend Biosciences has raised $2.8 million in a round of venture capital, according to a new filing with the SEC. Blend is not currently publicizing its business model or technology. The company lists its headquarters address as the Emerging Enterprise Center at the law firm Foley Hoag.

Founder, Shadi Aryanpour, D.M.D., M.P.H., received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2001. She then completed three years of advanced training in Endodontics and earned a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2004. She also holds a Masters in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
