Bench Accounting, a virtual bookkeeping service, has raised $1 million in new seed funding from Contour Ventures, Alpine Meridian, Lerer Ventures, Quotidian Ventures.

An outsourced accounting service, Bench pairs you with your own personal bookkeeper. They get to know you and your business, and you get to know them. Once you connect your accounts, we get your bank statements automatically and make all the updates for you. From here on out, just send us pictures of receipts or pop them in the mail, and your bookkeeper does the rest.
