ADDISON, TX, According to SEC filings, Authentix Acquisition Co. Inc. has closed a $1.98 million equity offering, raising the amount from eight investors.

Authentix is the global leader in authentication and provides brand protection solutions for the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, consumer, tobacco, spirits, and agrochemical industries, as well as fiscal tax recovery and security services for governments worldwide.

Investors in Authentix include Carlyle and JH Whitney. The firm is currently a subsidiary of Manti Holdings, an Energy firm with strategic investments in technology companies.
