Ample Hills Creamery Raises $4M

2015-11-16
BROOKLYN, NY, Chain of ice cream shops has raised $4 million in funding.
According to TC, Ample Hills Creamery, a Brooklyn-based chain of ice cream shops, has raised $4 million in funding from Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Red Sea Ventures, and individual investors, including Brooklyn Brewer co-founder Tom Potter.

Ample Hills was opened in Prospect Heights on a sunny spring day in 2011 in hopes of creating a community gathering spot where the ice cream making would take place in view for all to see and the flavors were fun, fresh, creative and inspiring. Some of their signature flavors include Salted Crack Caramel (a salted caramel ice cream with pieces of chocolate covered buttered crackers), Peppermint Pattie (cool peppermint ice cream with homemade peppermint patties), and Sweet As Honey (homemade honeycomb candy in a sweet cream base). All ice cream and most mix-ins are made using the freshest ingredients from start to finish in our shops in Brooklyn.
