Venture Capital News: VenueNext Raises $15M

SANTA CLARA, CA, VenueNext, the connected venue technology platform company, has secured $15 million in Series B financing in a round led by Causeway Media Partners.
VenueNext will use the new funds to expand into new verticals, including healthcare and hospitality, as well as internationally. VenueNext also announced its newest customer Sharks Sports & Entertainment, where it will power four different venue experiences for SAP Center at San Jose, the San Jose Sharks and San Jose Barracuda teams, beginning with the imminent 2016-17 Sharks Season.
