According to published reports, InsideSales.com announced a $50 million funding round. The new round was led by returning investor Polaris Partners. Other returning investors included Microsoft, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Hummer Winblad, U.S. Venture Partners, Epic Ventures, and Zetta Venture Partners. QuestMark Partners and the Irish Strategic Investment Fund also joined the round.
The InsideSales.com platform supports a High Velocity Sales model, enabling inside sales representatives to respond to Internet generated leads in five minutes or less. The product was designed for business-to-business and high-end business-to-consumer sales environments. It has been one of the most popular applications on the salesforce.com AppExchange for over four years.
