Lovely, a startup building an online network to connect potential tenants with apartment owners, has received an undisclosed Series A funding round, according to published reports. The company also acquired Rentmatic, an online rent-collection company. The funding round did include private investors Mark Stevens, Walter Kortschak, John Foster, and Kevin Taweel.
Lovely is a San Francisco-based startup working to connect apartment owners and renters in a transparent, fast, easy marketplace. The company has developed a website and an iPhone app with a complete set of search tools, including the ability for renters to send potential apartment owners detailed cards with personal details to speed the application process.
