Royal, a platform that allows anyone to purchase the right to earn royalties from their favorite songs, Royal has closed a $55M Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz with additional investment from CAA and NEA's Connect Ventures, Crush Music, Coinbase Ventures, Founders Fund and Paradigm to build the future of music ownership on-chain.

This Series A follows their seed round of $16M, announced in August. The firm announced that they have welcomed a star-studded roster of global artists to their investor list including The Chainsmokers, Nas, Logic, Stefflon Don, Kygo, and Joyner Lucas & Disclosure.
