SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Firm that helps developers create natural language interfaces obtained funding from Peter Thiel's Breakout Labs.
The Thiel Foundation announced today the first Breakout Labs awards of 2013 to two early-stage companies working to bridge the gap dividing human beings and technology in unique ways: SkyPhrase, Inc. and Stealth Biosciences.
Web applications can be cumbersome, smartphone interfaces are limited, and sometimes are even dangerous, and insights go undiscovered because data inside organizations and laboratories is so difficult and expensive to analyze.
SkyPhrase's mission is to change this. With scientists and engineers from schools such as MIT, Stanford, and RPI, we have made breakthroughs in algorithms that enable computers to understand more complex language with greater precision than has ever been possible. Our technology also makes it extremely easy for developers with no experience in linguistics or artificial intelligence to create natural language interfaces.
