According to Reuters, Asana, has lined up $28 million in a financing round led by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel and his Founders Fund.
Asana is an effort to re-imagine how teams get things done. The firm is building the modern way to work together, a fast and versatile web application that connects everyone with what's going on, their shared priorities, and who owns each part of the effort.
The team is comprised of engineering, business and thought leaders from companies such as Facebook and Google. Asana is also backed by Benchmark Capital and Andreessen-Horowitz, and an experienced team of advisors.
