Clean Runner, a provider of technology for cleaning water used in oil and gas well production, has raised $19.6 million in a round of venture capital, the company disclosed in a new filing with securities regulators. 57 separate investors participated in the offering.

Clean Runner is owned and operated by Cate Street Capital Inc, an investment company that specializes in bringing green technologies and environmentally sustainable development projects to commercial operation.

The firm's PetroCleanse product is an integrated system that employs a combination of water reclamation technologies, depending on the exiting purity requirements of the incoming contaminated water.
