Fotonauts, a provider of software for turning photo albums into web pages, has raised $5.2 million of venture capital, according to a new filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Four separate investors participated in the offering.
Fotonauts, via its website fotopedia.com, helps photographers organize, upload, synchronize, and share their photos. It adds data from Wikipedia, Google Maps, and other places to photo albums and then publishes those albums as Web pages with one click of a button.
