Woofound has raised $2 million in seed funding for its image-based personality assessment platform for recommendations. The new funding comes from the Propel Baltimore Fund, managed by Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), in collaboration with The Abell Foundation and the France-Merrick Foundation; Heritage Capital, a family investment company for small and middle-market enterprises; Frank Bonsal, Jr., co-founder of New Enterprise Associates; Vince Talbert, co-founder of Bill Me Later; Charles 'Chip' Morris, managing director at Integral Capital Partners, and other angel investors.
Woofound was founded by Dan Sines and Josh Spears to give people a better way to quickly personalize the world around them. It has created valid, proven personality assessment tools that are accessible and applicable to everyday life. Our team consists of psychologists, developers and designers, all passionate about helping to solve real, relevant human problems.
